Otherwise,  these are made to measure so we require foot and leg measurements. It’s a good idea to forward us your measurements before ordering.  Pricing will depend on your feet width, i.e. if you fit our standard sizes or if there is last modification needed to fill your order and fit you comfortably.  (This means changing the lasts – shoe moulds – to fit your feet). More About The Product

The first Ancient Mariner boots were made for the September issue of Italian Vogue in 2009. We were commissioned to make nine pairs of boots in a rustic, broken down style to be paired with Prada, Vivienne Westwood, John Galliano clothing and Stephen Jones hats for the Steven Meisel photo story! Using parchment from the 1700s we digitally printed leather and combined it with torn edged leathers, patches, wire and handstitching. We reinvented the style as a wearable winter boot using the same parchment for printing and we burnt leather with a pyrography tool to achieve the aged look. These boots also feature brass hinges and buckles.
