These original leaf boots were inspired by the Fairy Guide boots we made for the 2003 Peter Pan Warner Bros film. We wanted to make something more accessible but still with most of the detail.

They are available to order as wedding boots and can customise the colour on request to match clothing (as much as we can). Contact us for details.

They are gorgeous as Elven wedding boots and fairy wedding shoes too. Also think woodland fairy wedding shoes and Lord of the Rings wedding boots. This style is also a good costume shoe.  Let us know if you need an extra wide fitting or a narrow fitting shoe.

We use natural vegetable tanned leather to make this handmade shoe design.  We start with a pattern made for your size and cut out the natural leather panels. Each piece is then hand painted with leather dyes to create the leafy look. Each pair turns out a little differently because they are all individually hand done.  When each piece has been painted, we sew them up and line them with beautifully soft but durable lining.  The shoes are then lasted (moulded over the shoe lasts) and soled. The soling we use is rubber resin and an 8mm rubber heel. If you would prefer leather soles, let us know. There is a surcharge which we can quote you on by request.
