As part of the signature Pendragon leaf style, they are the descendants of the original Prince of Autumn Leaves shoes which we made in 1994 as part of our metamorphosis exhibition. They are now part of the Powerhouse museum’s shoe collection in Sydney.
This was the beginning of our journey working with natural leather and dyes. It is now the basis of quite a lot of our bespoke boot designs. For example the high leaf boots, the tree spirit boots, Elvish leaf booties, and even our Elvish leaf belts and handmade leather leaf guitar straps.
