In our one-day beginners sandal workshops, we’ll guide you through the essentials of sandal making. You’ll learn the art of leather selection and explore various techniques for leather decoration, including dyeing, stamping, pyrography, and more. The leather straps and panels will be lined with soft leather and sewn using industrial sewing machines under our guidance. Next, we’ll walk you through lasting, soling, and the finishing touches. This class is beginner-friendly, though having some sewing skills can be advantageous. The class runs from 9.30-4.30.
