We made the original pair of Pendragon Alice in Wonderland boots in 2010. Continuing the theme of the boots we made for an Italian Vogue photoshoot in September 2009 featuring patchwork fabrics and digital printed leather (La Fortuna and Prince of Fools boots) we created these luscious detailed boots. They’ve often been described as the boots Johnny Depp should wear.
These bespoke boots can be made in a variety of colours. Some examples can be seen on the patchwork boot page. Customised boot colour schemes can be requested. Contact us to discuss any ideas you have with us.
We can also incorporated personalised boot ideas and your own images can be printed on leather to use in these handcrafted boots.
Tapestries, velvets, digitally printed images, tiny heart cut-outs lined in ribbon, lace, and braid combine with leathers to make one of our iconic Pendragon original designer boots.
Made to measure in the leg and feet to fit you perfectly, Alice in Wonderland boots are super comfortable and will attract lots of attention.
You can choose from a number of John Tenniel’s illustrations which all on the public domain (no copyright infringement). Choices include: mad hatter’s tea party, Alice drink me image, white rabbit with pocket watch, white rabbit sounding the trumpet, Queen of Hearts playing card, caterpillar smoking, paining the roses red and more.

These are the BEST boots I have ever owned! Jackie and Adrian do superb work. Communication with Jackie was fun, friendly and fast. The shoemaking elves made me bespoke shoes: tailoring the images, shape and height to suit my needs. I broke both my feet, all my toes, my legs (and several other bits) as a teenager.
