Pyrography burning and hand-painting techniques have been used to create these stunning butterfly tie up summer sandals. Made from all leather with a rubber sole, they are comfortable and durable.
A truly original design, each pair is individually decorated and hand made at the time of ordering. Choose between the Monarch (golden yellow, black and tan) and the Ulysses (blue and black). They sit off centre on the foot towards the pinky toe.
These were inspired by the Monarch butterfly that originated in North America and were introduced into Australia in the 1870s. We love the stark contrasting colours. The Ulysses butterfly is found in most tropical rainforest areas such as Northern Queensland. They are the most beautiful iridescent blue colour.
These sandals are often worn for summer wedding sandals, beach wedding shoes, boho wedding shoes and fairy wedding sandals. We have made them up in other colours to match bridal gowns and bridesmaids dresses as well. Please contact us to discuss matching in with alternative bride clothing or for costume shoes. Handmade shoes for weddings can take a few weeks to make so please get in touch for availability as soon as you can. Personalised wedding shoes are our speciality and we are always happy to discuss options with our customers. Can be made in white and with a small heel.
