We have been making this style for a number of years now and they are still popular, so we keep making them. We often make them for weddings and can customise the colour on request (for example the blue pair pictured)

We use natural vegetable tanned leather to make this handmade shoe design. We start with a pattern made for your size and cut out the natural leather panels. Each piece is then hand painted with leather dyes to create the leafy look. Each pair turns out a little differently because they are all individually hand done. When each piece has been painted and is dry, we sew them up and line them with beautifully soft but durable lining. The shoes are then lasted (moulded over the shoe lasts) and soled. The soling we use is rubber resin and an 8mm rubber heel. If you would prefer leather soles, let us know. There is a surcharge which we can quote you on by request.
